Anyone ever bought racing shoes? Any ideas how the sizings run? I'm 10.5 but have a wide-ish foot. Any suggestions? Basically anything on this page is up for consideration !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Go to the manufacturers' sites, they all have different fits.

Go try shoes on, you can't get a good fit unless you physically try them on. You won't regret it.

I wear 8 1/2 street shoes, but theirs was tight with the fireproof socks. I'd say they all run a little small. I'd recommend a half size larger than your normal shoe should fit.

I did order a pair. I guess I was lucky picking the sizing as I didn't have any problems when I tried them on. The chart on the site was correct that day.

the Pumas I have and the ones I bough from the 24 Hours of Lemons vendor fit fine based off of standard sizing.

Word of advise, while they look cool they suck as day to day walking shoes. Protect your arches.

These are for karting, but thanks!

you say that until you put them on and realize that they look cool. Then you wear them out to dinner once "to break them in", then you find that you've been wearing them all week...and your feet hurt...but they look cool.

But it is dorm money so they would have to last at least two years, so I'd have to refrain from wearing them out. Do I need them? No, probably not. Would it be good to have a nice set of karting shoes for "safety reasons?" Probably. I have $850 left in my budget that I can splurge on some nice stuff for the team.

These are 99$, the most comfy IMO, fireproof. I use them for track days and karting.
